If a shareholder who held shares in his sole name dies without leaving a will. How can his legal heir/s (either husband/wife/son/daughter, etc.) get the shares transmitted in their names?

Firstly the legal heirs have to obtain a Succession Certificate or Letter of Administration with respect to the shares and a true copy of the same, duly attested by the Court Officer, or Notary should be sent to our R & ST Agent, M/s RCMC Share Registry Private Ltd.* along with a request letter along with all the share certificates in original, for transmission in their favour.

The Shareholders who are holding shares in Physical form are requested to update their KYC and also requested to convert their physical share Certificates in to dematerialized form ( electronic Form).Further pursuant to SEBI Circular No. SEBI/Cir/ISD/3/2011 dated June 17, 2011 in order to promote dematerialization of securities, it is mandatory for the Company to achieve 100% of promoter’s and promoter group’s shareholding in dematerialized form, thereby they are requested to convert their holdings in dematerialized form on priority basis.
